How might we take back the power to define our own social media identity?

The “Unedited Insta” is a play off of the Burn Book, from the 2004 movie "Mean Girls". The Burn Book was used by girls to decide the identity of other girls. The “Unedited Insta” uses this book as a symbol to help individuals regain their power, decide their own identity, and promote it as they see fit. The irony between the word “unedited” is to contrast the fakeness that can be associated with Instagram now by bringing society back in time to the 2000s where individuals could unapologetically be themselves.
