Everyone has felt pressure at some point to be more happy in life, whether they realized it or not. And while happiness is a good goal to work towards, today’s culture has an obsession with it where it's an inescapable part of our lives. We are always being told to be in a state of striving for the next big thing that will make our lives better. And research shows that constantly striving for happiness doesn't actually make you happier. But the answer is simpler than we realize.
The Little Moments Project shines a light on the value of little moments and educates people about the pressure they may or may not be aware of on their perceptions of happiness. The main design strategy used to convey this is a gallery showing the stories of little moments submitted by real people. These moments show us that happiness might just be right in front of us, hidden in the everyday memories we make.
