In recent years, the beauty industry has grown tremendously due to the rise of beauty influencers and the beauty community on social media. Unfortunately, there is a lot of unethical animal testing that is conducted in the production of these products. While animal testing is not required in the United States and a lot of brands have moved away from it, there are still several big companies in the beauty industry still participating in these unethical experiments. This is something that is not really talked about in society and consumers are unaware of what these practices actually consist of or what products they are using that may be contributing to the continuation of these practices.
